MEDIA APPEARANCES FOR THE THREE BOOKS
August 27, 2026: KABC Eyewitness News Anchor Phil Palmer had Danny and I on his show this morning to talk about Second to None. It was clear to us when he came to visit us in the Green Room before the show that he had read the entire book and loved it. He walked us out to our car after the show and spoke with us for another half an hour.

September 3, 2026: El Segundo Media produced this brief video compilation of the book signing event held for Danny Boehle and I and the team at El Segundo Public Library. It was a great event, and very meaningful to me, having been born and raised there in El Segundo and visiting that library every Saturday as a kid. Link to the video here:

This feature appeared in the August, 2020 issue of The Numismatist - one of the largest coin collecting magazines in the world, with a circulation of 28,000.
The Autumn 2020 issue of Notre Dame Magazine. contained a photo of the cover and a writeup. This issue of the magazine is entitled “Silver Linings,” which is so appropriate because that’s exactly what this little novel has been for me during such a crazy and tragic time. The magazine goes to 175,000 people. I’m so honored and touched that ND thought to include it. Go Irish.
